What maybe you do not understand, is that some people work with Windows Server , and I mean work And if they are not allowed to use XP, they can easily turn their current operating system in one that at leasts gives them those features.

I am on the side why make 2K3 look like XP when you can buy XP, but if people have access to a copy cheap school, etc then this info might be useful to them as they might want to try to learn on the machine they game on.
While the ideal situation is that you get 2K3 and put it on a seperate machine to learn some don't have that luxury. I reiterate it is pointless to go purchase 2K3 to make it run like XP, especially since 2K3 is much more expensive. You don't get any benefits from 2K3 except learning experience. Good Luck Aryiam! Give it a rest n00b. There is nothing people hate more than a brand new poster coming on here and trying to argue what already has been argued on. Win2k3 has it's purpose, and it's not gaming.
It's a great OS for what it's intended for, serving. Why would someone spend about 5 times more to get a copy of a server OS when XP will do the exact same job for the typical home user?

Doggie, you can just make Win2K3 act as a workstation by disabling the right services Then it runs fine! Can i make the same on my Windows I server?
